Quick Tip: Xcode Keyboard shortcut CMD-J

I love working with code files side by side in Xcode. It's handy because I'm usually focused on two or three related files, so the ability to split them across the monitor is really useful.

I also love using the keyboard to control my computer, rather than my mouse. It's so much quicker than having to move my hand to the mouse and move the mouse cursor around to get to where I want to go.

CMD-J lets you switch between those side by side file editors, using just the keyboard. Press it and Xcode asks which open editor you'd like to move focus to.

Great when you're frequently going between two files.
