I’m not a big pop music person, or a big Taylor Swift person. But I went through a huge phase of listening to 1989 when it originally came out.

I haven’t heard it in years, and when started listening to 1989 (Taylor’s Version). I could pinpoint what’s different in each track. From the start of Welcome To New York, I was thinking "oh, that bass rhythm is slightly different" or "that beat has changed a bit" or "she's singing that a little differently".

Memories are weird.

The album is good. I prefer the original recording, probably just because it's clearly so ingrained in my memory. But 1989, whichever version, is just such a good record.
