Perfect early 2000s pop punk. Guitar riffs, melodies, jokey songs about masturbation… I hadn’t realised until writing this that it was produced by Jerry Finn, who also produced Enema of the State and Take Off Your Pants and Jacket by Blink-182, that really fits!

The last couple of songs don’t land so well for me, with El Borracho in particular just feeling like filler because they needed one more song. And the style doesn’t quite fit with the rest.

But overall, loved listening, and there are some great tracks. Pheobe Cates is a great start, setting the tone for the album. Threesome, Tearjerker and Manufactured Inspirato are favourites. It’s a great album to listen to on a sunny afternoon.
